About Our Company

Founded in 1982, we offered complete facilities for the creation of custom stained glass windows and door panels. We were located in historic downtown Oxford, Michigan and operated in a 6,100 square foot building that was originally built as a Packard dealership in 1910. The artists and craftsmen who made up our unique studio took great pride in every aspect of their work, from design inception to installation of the finished piece. We specialized in the generation of original artwork and design, custom beveling, sandblasting and etching, custom stained glass of every size, as well as other specialty glass services. We provided expert restorations, repairs and modifications to stained and beveled glass.

Using traditional methods of beveling and metal came construction, windows and door panels were hand-crafted with crisp clear bevels of unsurpassed optic quality. Intricate bevels were made of clear or colored plate, and meticulous selection ensured that our bevels never contained the imperfections often found in imported piecework. Personalized sandblasted designs were available in clear plate, mirror, and flashed glass. We also designed and created custom stained glass pieces in a variety of designs suited to our clients’ specifications, from a single cabinet door to large-scale architectural installations.

		In addition to the studio, we had a spacious showroom with a large collection of antique windows and antique doors encompassing Victorian, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco design. All had been painstakingly restored to their original condition. We offered these refinished architectural antiques and furniture through our sister company, Sunset Antiques. Large pieces such as back bars and fireplace mantels were our specialty, and we stocked one of the largest collections of restored fireplace mantels in the Midwest.
